Brandeis University 2021 Leonard Bernstein Festival of the Creative Arts - Art Finds a Way

Online and on campus, art finds a way.

From April 25-May 1, 2021, the Festival of the Creative Arts celebrates the abundant creativity of Brandeis students, faculty and staff, joined by distinguished guest artists.

Founded in 1952 by the legendary American composer and Brandeis faculty member Leonard Bernstein, the first festival was dedicated to the belief that “the art of an era is a reflection of the society in which it is produced, and through creative endeavors the thoughts and expression which characterize each generation are revealed and transformed.”

Whether you're on campus or at home, there's something to enjoy every day April 25-May 1. Must see: the Virtual Super Sunday watch party on April 25, featuring more than 100 Brandeis performances from a cappella to the Brandeis Jazz Ensemble to short films and comedy pieces.
