Westminster Williamson Voices, joined by their "sister choir" the University of Aberdeen Chamber Choir, will present Leonard Bernstein's "Chichester Psalms" on April 11 and 12, 2015.

In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the premiere of Leonard Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms, Grammy®-nominated Westminster Williamson Voices, joined by their “sister choir," The University of Aberdeen Chamber Choir, of Aberdeen, Scotland, will be offering two exciting concerts this weekend.

The joint choir of 90-plus singers will perform under the direction of Paul Mealor and James Jordan, first at Westminster Choir College's Bristol Chapel, in Princeton, New Jersey, on Saturday, April 11, 2015, then at Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church in New York, New York, on Sunday, April 12, 2015.

Aside from Bernstein's Chichester Psalms, the concerts will also feature music by Mealor, whose motet Ubi Caritas et Amor was performed at the royal wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton in 2011.  The choirs will also sing a new work by composer Thomas LaVoy as, well as traditional spirituals and Scottish folk music.
