Paley Center for Media, New York City (25 W. 52nd St.) and Los Angeles (465 N. Beverly Dr.) , New York, New York, United States The Paley Center in New York and Los Angeles presents free screenings of a selection of historic broadcasts including (at 12:15 pm) the 1960 telecast "Leonard Bernstein and the New York Philharmonic: The Creative Performer" featuring Glenn Gould and Igor Stravinsky in their U.S. TV debuts, and soprano Eileen Farrell; folllowed (at 1:15 pm) by the 1967 "CBS News Special: Inside Pop: The Rock Revolution" featuring an array of rock bands and singers including Jan Ian and the Beach Boys; and (at 2:10 pm) the 1969 program "New York Philharmonic Young People's Concerts: Bach Transmogrified" in which Bernstein discusses different treatments of Bach's works and welcomes guests ranging from conductor Leopold Stokowski and organist Michael Korn ... to a Moog synthesizer.
